GoHeight is a science-based growth tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
The growth data you enter (height, weight, sleep, exercise, and similar details) is used only to compute your predictions, plans, and reports — nothing else.
We do not run ads, do not track you across apps or websites, do not sell your personal information, and do not use your data to train AI models. Predictions are calculated by a transparent statistical model, not a third-party AI service.
Because many users are minors, the app is designed to be used with a parent or guardian (there is a dedicated Parent View), and we keep data collection to the minimum needed.
You can delete your account and all growth data at any time directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account).
1. Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how GoHeight ("the App", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use the GoHeight iOS app or the GoHeight website. It applies to all features of the service, including the onboarding questionnaire, growth records, daily check-ins, predictions and plans, and subscriptions. A separate Chinese policy applies to the GoHeight WeChat Mini Program used in China, which complies with Chinese regulations; this page covers the international iOS service.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Apple sign-in identifier (optional). If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple-provided identifier (and your name or hidden relay email only if you choose to share them). We never receive your Apple ID password.
Growth profile. During onboarding you enter details such as nickname, gender, birth date, current height and weight, birth length and weight, parents' heights, puberty stage, and lifestyle habits (sleep hours, exercise frequency, diet pattern, sitting time). Bone age and past measurement history are optional.
Growth records and check-ins. Height/weight measurements you log, and daily habit check-ins (sleep, exercise, diet, posture) with any values you add.
Information generated when you use the App
App-generated device identifier. If you use the app without signing in, on first launch the App creates a random identifier used to keep your data attached to your device. It is not tied to your Apple ID, phone number, or advertising identifiers.
Predictions, plans, and reports. The adult-height prediction, personalized growth plan, and analysis reports are computed from your profile and records and stored so you can revisit them.
Points and invitations. Check-in points and invite codes you generate or use.
Purchase records. When you subscribe via Apple In-App Purchase, we receive transaction details (such as the transaction identifier, product identifier, and purchase date) so we can activate your membership. Apple handles the payment itself; we never see your card number or payment credentials.
Technical logs. Our servers keep standard request logs (for example IP address and timestamps) for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting. These logs are retained only for a limited period.
Local data on your device. Your session token and preferences (language, parent mode) are stored locally on your device; you can clear them in the app's settings.
3. How We Use Information
To provide the core service: track growth records, compute your growth percentile, and generate the adult-height prediction, personalized plan, and progress reports.
To operate check-ins and points, streaks, and achievements.
To manage your membership: activate subscriptions after an Apple purchase and maintain your access.
To run invitation rewards between users you choose to invite.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud prevention).
To comply with legal, accounting, and App Store requirements, including processing refunds through Apple.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
4. How Growth Data Is Processed
Predictions are produced by a transparent statistical model based on published growth-reference data (for example CDC growth charts), combined with your entered data such as parents' heights, current measurements, and puberty indicators. No third-party AI service receives your data and your data is not used to train any model.
Your growth data is stored so your history, curves, and reports remain available to you; it is never shown to other users and is not used for any purpose other than the features described in this Policy.
You can edit or delete individual records in the app at any time, or delete everything via account deletion (Section 8).
Predictions are statistical estimates with individual variation. They are informational only — see Section 13.
5. Third Parties
Apple. Purchases, refunds, and Sign in with Apple are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. Apple may share with us the transaction data described in Section 2 so we can activate or adjust your membership.
Infrastructure providers. The service runs on cloud hosting used only to run the backend and store its database. Each provider is bound to process data only on our instructions.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third party, and we do not disclose your growth data to anyone.

7. Data Sharing and Advertising
We do not display third-party ads, do not embed advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, and do not link your data with third parties for marketing. Your information is shared only as described in Section 5, or if we are legally required to do so.
8. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete Account (with confirmation).
Deletion takes effect immediately: your profile, growth records, check-ins, predictions, plans, and points are permanently erased, and your session becomes invalid.
For accounting and App Store reasons, anonymized purchase records (not linked to you) are retained as described in Section 6.

9. Data Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
Sessions use signed tokens; growth data is accessible only with your own session.
Administrative access to our systems is protected and limited to the team for support and abuse prevention.
No system is perfectly secure; please contact us if you become aware of any issue.
10. Children and Minors
GoHeight is designed for teenagers and young adults, and for parents managing growth together with their child. We are especially careful with minors' data:
The service is intended to be used under a parent's or guardian's guidance. By creating a profile for a minor, you confirm that you are the minor user with parental consent, or the parent/guardian acting on their behalf.
We collect only the growth-related details needed for the features (Section 2), never a phone number, precise location, contacts, or photos.
A Parent View is built into the app so a parent can review the child's data and progress on the same device, instead of needing a separate account for the child.
We show no ads and no external links aimed at minors, and purchases require the device's Apple ID authentication.
Parents may request correction or deletion of a minor's data at any time (Sections 8 and 11).
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. The most direct ways to exercise these rights are:
Delete everything: use in-app account deletion (Section 8) — immediate for profile, records, and derived data.
Access or specific requests: email us at 2894599828@qq.com; we will respond within a reasonable period.
Stop using the service: simply uninstall the app; nothing further is uploaded from your device.
12. International Data Transfers
Our backend service operates on servers located in China; international users connect through a global access gateway. If you use the App from outside China, your information will be transferred to and processed on those servers. Apple (for purchases and sign-in) processes data in its own regions under its own policy.
13. No Medical Advice
GoHeight provides general wellness and growth references based on statistical models and public growth-reference data. It is not a medical diagnosis, does not promise height gain, and is not suitable for pathological growth concerns. If you have concerns about growth or development, consult a qualified pediatrician. A disclaimer to this effect is shown in the app.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the service or the law. The "Effective date" at the top shows the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted in the App or on the website. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
